Public Notice: Slurry Seal Operations SPN (PDF)
The City of Patterson will be beginning the 2025 Slurry Seal Project. This project consists of removing and replacing striping and markings, repairing cracks in the roadways and applying a Type II Slurry Seal to various streets in the city.
Estimated Start Date: August 11, 2025
Estimated Completion Date: October 2025
Streets will be closed to through traffic during scheduled activities expect for emergency vehicles responding to calls. Construction signs will be in place and flaggers will be on site to help direct traffic. Residents within the area will be notified 48 hours in advance. “No Parking” signs will be placed 48 hours in advance on the streets that are scheduled for slurry seal operations.
Please be advised of the following:
- Any cars parked within the posted area on the days of the slurry seal operations will be towed
- Do NOT drive on the surface treated streets until the street(s) has been reopened to traffic or permitted by a flagger
- Reduce speed while traveling through the work area
- Garbage pick-up will not be affected; please place trash bins on top of the curb
- Do NOT water your lawn on the “No Parking” days or the night prior
