NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Patterson will hold a public hearing at a Regular Meeting on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at 7:00 P.M , or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the City Council Chambers, 1 Plaza, Patterson, CA 95363 to consider the adoption of:
Updates to the City’s Development Impact Fees for: (1) City Hall Facilities, (2) Corporation Yard Facilities, (3) Recreation Facilities, (4) Park Facilities, and (5) Transportation Improvements. The City Council will also consider adoption of the Nexus Study for each of the foregoing Development Impact Fees. The Nexus Study presents an analysis of construction costs and levels of service to accommodate new development, as well as the maximum fees that can be charged. The proposed Development Impact Fees will replace and combine existing Development Impact Fees charged by the City. The Development Impact Fee updates are also proposed to be increased compared to existing Development Impact Fees.
The Development Impact Fees will be adopted in accordance with Government Code sections 66000 et seq. and 66016.5. All nexus studies and data in support of the proposed Development Impact Fee updates will be available for review with the City Clerk at least ten (10) days prior to the meeting. Arrangements for reviewing the materials or obtaining copies of the nexus studies can be made by contacting the City Clerk’s Office at (209) 895-8012 or by email cityclerk@pattersonca.gov.
ALL INTERESTED PARTIES are invited to attend the hearing and express opinions or submit evidence for or against the proposed fees described above. At the above noted time and place, testimony from interested persons will be heard by the City Council and duly considered prior to taking action on the above proposed fees. Any material submitted to the City Council for consideration (photographs, petitions, letters, etc.) will be retained by the City and cannot be returned.

If you wish to challenge this item in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City at or before the public hearing. (Government Code § 65009 (b)(2)).
